Carolyn grew up in the coastal town of Fairhope, Alabama and is a graduate of The University of Alabama. After earning a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design and Art History, she moved to New York City to pursue a career in Interior Design.

Interior Design is a multifaceted industry and Carolyn has worked with top professionals from many different branches of this field.  She got her start in commercial applications working as a Technical Project Specialist for the iconic furniture company, Knoll, Inc.  Helping architects and designers develop custom office furniture applications for high profile clients gave her a deep understanding of the custom product application process.

From there, she went on to work as a Junior Interior Designer at J.D. Bell, Inc.  While there, Carolyn applied her AutoCAD skills and was introduced to the world of residential design.  Overseeing a high-end renovation of a 2,000 square foot loft sparked Carolyn's interest in construction management and she subsequently accepted a Project Management position with Soho Construction Group, Inc.  Being on site with her crew on a daily basis broadened Carolyn's knowledge of critical construction processes and allowed her to fully understand the important role of each member of a project team.

Founded in 2010 in New York City and relocated to Austin, TX in 2017, Carolyn Pritchett Interior Design is a licensed, full-service design firm that offers interior design, project management, and property management.
