Austin Interior Designer

Carolyn Pritchett Aponte, ASID, RID

Carolyn got her start in Interior Design in New York City working as a Technical Project Specialist for the iconic furniture company, Knoll, Inc. In that role she created custom furniture applications for high-profile clients, giving her a deep understanding of the custom product application process.

From there, Carolyn transitioned to residential design and began working as an Interior Designer for JD Bell, Inc. While overseeing a high-end renovation of a 2,000 square foot Tribeca loft, Carolyn developed an interest in construction management and became a Project Manager with Soho Construction Group. Being on site with her crew broadened Carolyn's knowledge of construction processes, an experience that has proven useful in many subsequent projects.

Founded in 2010 in New York City as a side hustle and fully launched in Austin in 2017, CPID, LLC is a licensed, full-service design firm that offers interior design, project management, and property management services. CPID's mission is to work with skilled artisans to create beautiful and functional spaces to fit within any budget.

Carolyn grew up in Fairhope, Alabama and graduated from The University of Alabama with a degree in Interior Design and Art History. She lives in Austin, TX with her husband, daughter, and cats.
